The main objective of the project is to promote the articulation of efforts among all stakeholders, for the implementation of actions that promote sustainable management and conservation of the tree species of the genus Dalbergia; besides proposing and having technical and scientific guidelines for the preparation of Non-Detrimental Extraction Reports and the transfer of technical capacities on the sustainable management of these species, with the purpose of contributing to the alleviation of poverty in the priority areas for implementation. It is expected that the products will strengthen the work of the governmental institutions in charge of the management of forest resources and they will be achieved through research and joint participation processes with stakeholders in Guatemala, El Salvador and Nicaragua.
