The main objective of the proposal is to enhance conservation activities for Aquilaria malaccensis through establishment of institutional network and arboreta at selected areas. Guidance for this ex situ conservation effort is obtained from the ‘Conservation Action Plan for the Threatened Agarwood Species Aquilaria malaccensis (Thymelaeaceae) in Peninsular Malaysia’.
