Cote D'Ivoire

The objective of this project is to strengthen the implementation of the CITES provisions for Pericopsis elata and Pterocarpus erinaceus in Côte d'Ivoire. The implementation of this project will provide a management plan for both species. Inventories of forest stands of these species will be conducted as part of this project and the results will be used as a decision support tool. The project also provides for the involvement of all stakeholders in its implementation for sustainable management of these two species.
